Please join us as we pray to God for ourselves, our families, our friends, our nations, and our world during this season of the Corona Virus (COVID-19). As Christians we know where our help comes from. Let’s join together in unity as a worldwide body of believers, trusting that God will work all things together for good to them that love Him and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28) Below are a list of prayer points with encouraging scriptures. This list is by no means exhaustive, but it is a great place to start.
KilltheVirus
Let us pray that God will kill the virus whether my miracle, by cure, or by obedience to wisdom. God in His infinite sovereignty has allowed the presence of the COVID-19 virus, but He has also promised that if His people pray, seek His face, and repent that He will heal the land.
“If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” - 2 Chronicles 7:13-14
Healing
Let us pray that God will heal all those that have been and will be afflicted with the Corona Virus. Let’s pray that their recovery will be swift and complete, and that God will receive all the glory and all the honor.

“1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;” 2 Timothy 2:1-3
Those Who Are Fearful
Let us pray for those that live in fear during this time due to the many unknown factors surrounding the Corona Virus, business closures, and the quarantine efforts. Pray that they will look to God and find peace.

“31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” Matthew 6:31-34
School Closures
Let us pray for the children and their teachers who are out of school around the world. Pray that students will be able to complete their studies whether online or an extended school year. Pray for parents who will struggle during this time to maintain schedules, tutoring, and family unity.
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6
Church Closures
Let us pray for the local church, many of whom have had to close their doors due to quarantine efforts. Pray that God would keep His hand on the congregations drawing them to Himself in faith. Pray for God’s direction as church leaders seek to minister to those in need through these uncharted waters of restriction. Pray for the loss of revenue that many churches will experience, and that God will provide for every need. Pray that each individual the body of Christ will stay vigilant in their personal prayer and faith life.

Patience
Let us pray for those struggling with patience as we attempt to wait out this virus worldwide. Let us pray that restlessness and discontentment will be replaced with peace and trust as we wait for this season to pass.
“I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. 3 And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.” Psalm 40:1-3
Unity / Brotherly Love
Let us pray for strong unity in our homes, within our communities, throughout our cities, and between nations as we fight the spread of COVID-19. Pray that we will help those in need in any way we can. Pray that we all will be part of the solution and part of the rebuilding once all of this is over. Pray that we will not see each other in fear and competition but as those created in the image of God.
"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love . . . Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us."1 John 4:7-8, 11-12
Expectations
Let us pray for our expectations as we face the unknown. For many people things may get worse before they seem to get better. Pray that at the end of all this new soul’s will be won for Christ and those who are already Christians will desire a deeper relationship with Him.
